Newell's Auto Body is proud to announce our new photo estimating tool. Here's an overview of how it works (video below).
Simply visit our website using your mobile phone, and click on the “Start Photo Estimate” button.
From there the app opens and you'll click “Get Started”. Next, type your name into the fields. Then we'll need to know what type of vehicle you have: to do that you can either scan the VIN code with your phone's camera, or you'll have the option to type it in manually.
After the VIN is entered, our app identifies your vehicle. Then tell us where on the vehicle the damage occurred, and we'll be guided through taking a few photos of your vehicle from different angles. The app gives an outline of your car - just line it up as best you can and press the blue photo button to snap a picture. Do that from the front driver side, front passenger side, rear passenger side, and the rear driver's side.
Next we need a close-up of the actual damage from a few angles. Now your photos are ready to be submitted, and you have the option to add any comments about the damage. Enter a note, then tell us if this will be an insurance claim.
Finally, choose how you’d like to receive your estimate - text message or email. Now press the “Done” button and you're done!
